Heart of the Book: Poetically capturing life while living in a poetic universe. Poetry is the source of my creativity and my life is the arena in which I share. The stories of my life and things relating to it are captured within.
Here are some poetic teasers;
- Mother Earth: As the lava cools clouds start to form. Producing the worlds largest storm. As the clouds clear the sky comes into view. Mother Earth chooses the prettiest shade of blue.
- Truck Driving Man: If being reckless helps you feel alive. The only question is how will you arrive? So Always look both ways and know your good. You don't wanna become an ornament on the hood.
- Anger Management: When troubles arise. Anger strikes without surprise. It launches an attack upon the brain. Must control must maintain.
The completion of these poetic teasers, along with thirty three other poems, gives Sliss the Storyteller's Book of Poems the sum of thirty six chapters. Tales that seem timeless are created from a variety of occurrences in my life.
Topics are generated from different ideas that range from celestial objects such as the poem titled "The Sun" to some earthly creatures such as "Wings of Spirit" or "Spiritual Butterflies". Something a little scary was added like the "The Awakening" but don’t worry there’s a surprise at the end.
Everyone should find something interesting, enjoyable and entertaining in this Book of Poems. I recommend parents or guardians review the material first for those who are under the age of eighteen. Thanks for taking the time to give this title your consideration.
