great story

Very good short listen. Good detail & story line. Absolutely worth listening to several times.

Good

A novella about addiction with magic mixed in. It's a bit of harrowing listen, but a good story, nonetheless.
The narrator helped make the story more interesting.

I enjoyed this story thoroughly. Amazing characters and exceptional narrator. Action all the way to the end.

A futuristic novella that deals with addiction. The story follows Tzun as he is drawn into the dark world of Slice.

Drew Briney has delivered what seems to be a very realistic story. It definitely made an impression.

Julian Pearson’s narration was well done and fit this story perfectly.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Slice

A quick read involving the life of a junkie. It doesn't matter if you are addicted to heroin, alcohol or this futuristic drug called Slice, it consumes your entire life. Everything you do is leading to your next fix.

The author does a good job in developing characters and writing about the life of addiction. Throw in a little magic and a little mystery and it makes for a good story.

The narrator does a good job and kept my interest in the book. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Ehh

Not a super spectacular story, falls flat and gets super predictable. Not to say that it's bad by any stretch, but not something I'd return to.
