Horrible performance great book

Virtual voice is better than ever but it still sucks. Still managed to be enjoyable. No real male characters except the main. Too little sex to be for the smut. The story kept me engaged

Honestly,

Honestly, I only listened to it up to 5hrs. It was hard to stay engaged. MC is like one of those guys who wants to be charismatic, brave, and more than what he is, but doesn’t have the personality to fit the role. The MC is Definitely a socially awkward kind of guy who plays the role of “SIMP/ white knight”.

The writing was okay, except the author should maybe use some other than “I say” when the MC is self-narrating. That became annoying quick.

I’ll read a few other series by the author to see if that writing is consistent or if this particular series wasn’t for me.
