Sit. Stay. Play Dead: Woofstock Whodunit marks the seventh installment of the Lily Rock Mystery Series, where springtime in Lily Rock heralds the arrival of the highly anticipated Woofstock weekend festival. This beloved event is a celebration of all things canine, featuring dog shows, agility contests, and a variety of vendors and activities for dog lovers. The excitement is cut short when a long-time resident and festival organizer is found dead in the dog park.

With the town in shock, Janis Jets, Lily Rock's only cop, calls on Olivia to assist in solving the case. Olivia dives into the investigation with her trademark tenacity and sharp insight, determined to uncover the truth behind the murder. However, Janis's insistence that she already knows the killer complicates matters. As Olivia navigates the clues and red herrings, she must unravel a web of secrets and motives, ultimately revealing the true culprit behind the Woofstock Whodunit.

Had me guessing until the end, tremendous characters throughout the story. I laughed often and was amazed at the descriptions.

i hate they killed arlo and made cwyanne seem like just a sad woman not a strong transwoman who's husband was killed. break them up and move her away when they had gotten stronger in previous books. i feel like the writer changed like someone else writing for her. the change in narrative and characters and narrator is horrible glad this is last audiobook because I'm done.
I'm over olivia and get wishy washy attitude on moving, Michael and get sister. no follow through on who her sister ended up with. Just to many in comsistant story lines.

very disappointed in this story and narration and change in characters

Lily Rock was described as a small town where everyone knows each other and there are no secrets. So how could a highly visible couple who run local businesses can break up and go missing with no one noticing? Then there was a strange plot centering on an expensive dog resort in this lower income area, as if rich folks would drive hours to stay in a town with no fancy restaurants or upscale shops or entertainment opportunities.
