But when her grandmother makes her an offer she can’t refuse—help Drake’s sister’s struggling startup in exchange for an introduction to the most powerful investor in the gaming industry—Venus grits her teeth and agrees.

Venus is determined to make a name for herself by launching the next Super Mario-sized hit. The last thing she needs is to tangle with her old nemesis, Drake, who betrayed her when they worked together in the past.

But between a youth group that’s like a dungeon crawl gone wrong, an assistant who’s definitely running cheat codes, and Grandma playing matchmaker like it’s her favorite minigame, Venus is stuck on a chaotic side quest she never signed up for. Worst of all? Every time Drake is around, her heart starts glitching like a beta version of itself.
