Silver was born into a world trying to climb out of the destruction of what was the modern world. Early into the 2030’s between, war, civil strife and a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection), that circled the globe for days, the world pretty much had to start over.
Her grandparents were young when it started and had collected many things the family would need in the future. Mostly information and learning. During Silver’s parents time things did get a little easier and a few conveniences coming back on line did help. If you wouldn’t see a biodiesel or a methane vehicle once in a while you would wonder if you had gone back to another age.
The criminal element is still a continuing problem. The simplifying of the law helped matters in that regard.
Silver took over as the seamstress and clothing repair business after her mother passed away. Her and her older brother Asa parting to different jobs they were trained for.
Entering this picture is Nathanial Mason Beloit (Nate), a business man. He ends up in the same hospital room as her injured brother.
