Silence & Circumspection

In the hamlet of Stone Arabia, a small Amish community has developed. For more than thirty years they’ve lived a simple, quiet life. That’s about to change. When a young Amish teen goes missing, his shunned brother reaches out to Patrick Brady for help. Patrick and his girlfriend Angela cut their summer vacation short to take up the case. The boy is found in the arms of an English girl, and the case appears closed. But this summer is just heating up! The next weekend, the boy’s family’s barn is burned to the ground and, not long after that, the girl’s ex-boyfriend is stabbed to death with a pitchfork in the middle of a field. All signs point towards the Amish boy, lashing out in a very non-Amish fit of jealousy. Combatting discrimination, cultural differences and the unending lure of fresh homemade baked goods, Patrick must uncover the truth before silence and circumspection cost an innocent man his freedom.
