Acerca de esta escucha
There are levels to survival. Things you swear you’ll never accept—until you do. Until you have to.
Honor was supposed to mean something, wasn’t it? But honor doesn’t quiet the cries of a child in the dead of night. Justice doesn’t pay the bills piling up on the counter. Morality doesn’t patch together a home that’s already frayed at the edges.
So, the lies were swallowed. The shame. The betrayal. The late nights filled with secrets and cold, hollow excuses. The chains of addiction that dragged everything further into the dark. All of it endured, not because it was deserved, but because stability demanded it. Because sometimes survival means sacrificing the very things that once defined you.
But there’s always a breaking point. The cracks had been forming, creeping through the fragile walls like whispers of a storm long overdue. The weight of another’s choices pressed down heavier with each passing day, threatening to crush everything—every fleeting moment of peace, every hard-won ounce of strength, every innocent smile that depended on the illusion of safety.
The silence was the hardest part. The silence that pressed like a hand around the throat, that held back the screams, the truths, the rage. How much longer could it last? How much could be swallowed before it all spilled over?
Because silence has a cost. And when it finally breaks, someone always pays.

Silence Speaks Volumes!
In "Silence" by Tina S. Transformation, readers are immersed in a gripping psychological thriller exploring the dark complexities of survival and betrayal. As Joey grapples with the suffocating silence enveloping her life, secrets buried deep claw to the surface. Balancing the suffocating ties between her military career and a turbulent family dynamic, Joey must navigate a world where silence becomes a cage. As the truth unravels, revealing more danger than she ever anticipated, she must decide how far she’ll go to protect those she loves.
Going into "Silence," I had little idea of what awaited me, and I’m glad for it. From page one, Tina S. Transformation , delivers a story that is gripping in its intensity and unapologetically raw. The story unveils the pain of Joey, a dedicated military professional, and her strained relationship with Raquel, her partner. From the haunting emotional depth of a military life to the stark realities of domestic tensions, every element feels real and tangible.
The pacing was breathless, unyielding, mirroring the ticking tension of a thriller that never lets you pause. Joey’s heartache over her career was palpable. Transformation creates an emotional landscape with precision, leaving readers both angered and empathetic. The writing style here is truly something to behold; vibrant and evocative, it delivers a vivid portrayal of characters striving to breathe under the weight of silence.
The Vibes it Brings:
✨🥀 Emotional Rollercoaster

✨💔 Heart-Wrenching Dilemmas
✨🎭 Intense Character Dynamics
✨🕵️ Truth Uncovered
✨🔪 Unyielding Tension
I received a free copy of the audiobook from the author. I highly recommend the audiobook, because Kelsey John Klein’s narration for "Silence" adds a layer of depth to this compelling story. Klein’s performance is almost symbiotic with the characters, bringing Joey’s pain, Raquel’s struggle, and the looming tension alive, something that readers will feel deeply in each word spoken. The emotional highs and lows are delivered with precision, making the audiobook a worthy choice for those who favor listening.
Kelsey’s ability to infuse subtle pauses and changes in tone reflect the emotional landscape of the characters. This transforms the experience into something immersive, more personal, and it resonates even after you put down your headphones.
"Silence" by Tina S. Transformation is more than just a thrilling read; it’s an exploration into the cost of secrets and the darkness of silence. The tension combined with the raw portrayal of military life weaves a narrative that is haunting yet exemplary in its storytelling.
Each twist in the tale is a beautiful yet brutal reminder of how silence can both protect and imprison. This novel leaves you provoked and thoughtful long after the last page is turned.
For those seeking something that digs deeper into the emotional and psychological trenches, "Silence" is the book to read. It remains a powerful narrative of resilience and betrayal that deserves a prominent spot on your reading list.

Raquel & Joey
I listened to the audio version of this book and enjoyed it. This book was different from some of the normal books that I have read/listened to but I enjoyed seeing the journey between Joey and Raquel with snippets of Abigail being shown. These characters were going through a lot in the book. It broke my heart as I continued through the book and saw what happened between Raquel and Joey towards the end of the book. Seeing how silence can make a difference in life had me resonating with the main characters and thinking about how I would navigate different situations if I was in the book.
“Even after everything, I still loved her”
