Perfect Valentine's Story

Review:
I love the chemistry between Rachel and Levi. This was such a sweet and short story perfect for Valentine's day. We have Rachel who is a travel blogger, re-visiting Candy Cane Creek for the Valentines Festival. Levi isn’t excited for the crazy town’s new obsession of Valentine’s Day. This story really kicks off as we watch both Rachel and Levi participate in The Love Search scavenger hunt, where the participants will be matched up later on. I love a good scavenger hunt and this has so many perfect moments.

Narration:
Much like book 2 ‘Road to Gingerbread Grove’ this was again narrated with Lisa Lynn Sandlin doing all the female POV chapters and James Blackmore doing all the male POV chapters. I loved the combination between their voices as they brought the story to life.

This book is adorable! I Love how it’s set In a town that is known for its Christmas decor & festivities. But now they are trying to get a tourist event for Valentines Day. The town has really gone all out and they even have a Love Match Game. Naturally our main characters are entered info this game. I laughed at myself at the ending because I was like expecting it to go one way & then I was surprised when it didn't. My favorite scene is when the Rachel & the Levi run into eachother and she says "you!" and his response is "me?" I laughed so hard. Definitely a fun adventurous romantic book. Audiobook note: Lisa & James are perfect of this book! They brought the characters and the banter to life in the best way possible!

A fun escape!

This was a fun, quick listen making me smile and laugh. The characters and fun town shenanigans were adorable and so sweet. The narrators were great really bringing this story to life.

I swear that town just gets sweeter every time we go back.

It was so much fun being back in Candy Cane Creek for Valentine’s Day. I swear that town just gets sweeter every time we go back. The whole festival vibe was adorable, and the scavenger hunt was such a cute way to throw Rachel and Levi together again.

The tension was so good! This is second chance romance done right. You can feel their history immediately. The awkward moments, the unresolved feelings, the very strong “I am not falling for you again” energy. Meanwhile you just know they absolutely are. I loved every second of it.

And I listened to the audiobook, which made it even better. The dual narration was amazing. Getting both of their perspectives added so much depth. You could actually hear the frustration and the longing in their voices, and it made all the banter and chemistry even more fun.

Fantastic Contemporary Christian Valentine themed

This was a fantastic Contemporary Christian Valentine themed Book! The story was believable and the characters were heartwarming. I was able to listen to this book via Audible, and it was a complimentary copy from the author. This did not in any affect my review. All opinions are my own.
