It was a hard sell, but Cameron had convinced Heather to return to the exoplanet Sang-Morang - where he had hoped they could experience the wonder of this majestic corner of the universe, together. But Cameron’s well-intentioned plan turns out to be one of his very worst. No sooner has the Primion set down on Sang-Morang, than they are ruthlessly attacked. Heather is abducted. The Loth is gone. The Primion destroyed. Cameron, once again, is alone and shipwrecked.

While Cameron is somewhat accustomed to surviving alone - being self-reliant - Heather has little concept of such things. Forcibly abducted up into space and a prisoner of ill-intentioned beings, she will have to dig deep beyond her limited life experience as a mere hostess at the Drake Café back in Larksburg Stand to confront both her inner and outer demons.

Light years apart, it quickly becomes apparent to them both that there is little hope they will ever see each other again. Soon, they will each be forced to endure their own version of hell - and do so alone.

Great second installment!

Great second installment! Look forward to more. But also would like to see it finally come to a satisfying and timely conclusion when it has run its course, unlike the Scrapyard Ship series by this author. Just sayin'. There's something to be said for an author who can finish what he starts.

Fantastic series

This series has been a delight to listen to this summer . My Dog and I have to agree a man , woman and animal is an unbeatable combination !

Ship Wrecked III Please!

I'm seriously hoping that this adventure continues. Between the great storyline and the superb narration, I couldn't stop listening. MM has made a new fan out of me!

Great book, great series

I couldn't put it down, I had to stay awake to see what happened next.

Lovely wild ride! There seems to be a market for space ship mechanics. I hope he writes more!

Great Story

Awesome follow up to Ship Wrecked. Hope there is another soon. Definitely check out the first one if you haven't yet.

What a let down

I cant believe I wasted a credit on this audiobook. Cameron's IQ dropped by half on this book. Very lazy and incredibly difficult to listen to. I think I'll skip the third book

Sloppy story telling

Initially the story started out well but then the action started to happen. Rather than develop a thoughtful story there was just a series of convenient events. Ex. Things are so bad I'm about to die, if I only had an X I would survive and then an X shows up. Then the danger gets more extreme and an even more unlikely rescue device appears. It seems like the author just got lazy and changed rules to make things convenient for the story.

hard to go from book 1 to book 2

in the 1st half of the book they changed the main character way too much vs the 1st book. in the 1st book i had no issue with Cameron, but listening to the 2nd book i ended up taking a break half way thru because the main character acted completely different. he was such a douche i almost stopped listening completely. the story did get better at the end but the start of this one ruined the book for me.

this story was not as good as the first one characters portrayed to be highly intelligent an excess to advanced technology but never uses it it makes idiotic decisions and portrays everything that happens whether he has any interaction with it to be his fault
