Great story.

The story is great. Lots of spiritual connections. Just wish the reading wasn’t a virtual voice.

Strong story ruined by weak AI reading

I liked the story and will go on to read book #2, but I'm extremely unimpressed by the virtual voice narration. Example #1: The story includes a lot of characters who practice archery, but the AI kept saying "bow" (the verb - like leaning over), not "bow" (the weapon). Example #2: There were tons of section breaks in which the setting quickly changes; the AI ran the final sentence and first sentence of different sections together on at least dozens of occasions, which made it pretty confusing at times. I had to go back and re-listen to a lot.
A lot of the problems could be fixed if someone who actually cared about the book proof-listened before publishing the virtual voice audiobook.

The narration.

Virtual voice didn’t do it for me. I found I had to go back and re-listen to sections frequently. I think the story might have been decent but I won’t be going back to listen to the next one. Didn’t enjoy this at all.
