AI Slop

The voice is AI generated, and this is one of the lowest effort works I've listened to. The voice cannot do accents, and when it tries it sounds so off as though it's satire instead of actually trying. The voice is monotone, like "elementary, he exclaimed" is delivered in the same unenthusiastic tone as the rest of the book, and even worse, the pronunciation of some words changes, along with the voice actually naming the punctuation marks at times, such as stating the word "colon" where a colon appears in the book. There is a lot of small thing that detract from the book, that feel petu to mention, but add up, such as no natural pauses at the end of chapters, meaning a small lapse in attention results in confusion, especially when the characters and narration are the same voice. The only reason I actually give more than one star is that the monotone delivery is quite good at putting me to sleep.
There is an ad at the end of each book, asking to support the author, who died in 1930.

Needs an upper class English accent

Still a great story this time, but your Narration really needs an upper class English accent; like the one that caught my ear the first time I enjoyed this story and author, not this AI Midwestern fake.
