During their colorful careers battling crime and villainy, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson encountered the most bizarre mysteries. In this latest volume, they set out to solve three of the most unique puzzles ever put before them. Two bodies are unearthed during the excavations beneath an old church and Holmes soon determines both are the victims of foul play, one recently and the other well over 100 years prior. Meanwhile a retired vice admiral is found slain in his locked quarters leaving Holmes to solve a classic puzzle of not only "who" but also "how". And finally, when bodies begin surfacing all over London with their blood completely drained, the famous consulting detective and his loyal assistant face the possibility that a legendary monster is roaming the fog-shrouded streets of their beloved London. Writers I.A. Watson, Raymond Lovato, and Aaron Smith put forth a trio of classic Conan Doyle-like mysteries pitting the great detective against the most menacing of evils both modern and ancient. Once more, the game is afoot!

This guy has narrated the last almost 10 books in the series and he consistently mispronounces barely advanced English words. That tells me he doesn’t know what those words even mean and that’s pathetic for a book narrator whose first language is clearly English. Well… New Jersey. I find this offensive and off putting. Young people come here to increase their vocabulary. They are going to surely look like idiots the next time they butcher a basic college level word.

Since when do we play to the lowest common denominator? Ugh I’m sorry…. Just really upsetting that this is what we have come to. No wonder everyone makes fun of our country. Not only do we allow this behavior we absolutely condone it! This guy is making bank narrating books when his grasp of the English language is C level at best!

Anyone got a soap box?
