The laughable “narration”.

If I myself tried to narrate a book with my brother, I imagine this is what it would sound like. If my lawyer and my accountant tried to narrate a book, this is what it would sound like. If my physician and my dentist … get the picture? Some people have the kind of voice which lends itself to conveying gravitas and others… well, others simply do NOT. Some people have a face only a mother could love and others have a voice only a mother could take seriously. These two dudes (for that’s all I can think of them as) should have stuck to roles in the background. Neither of them belong in an interactive role with the audience.

Because this audiobook places them front and center in precisely that type of role, suffice it to say I found myself distracted and annoyed.
