Shattered by Love

Life is a carousel of romance, love, joy and heartache.

KJ is a Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam with a combat unit. The memories of those days, weeks and years still haunt him. Both the good and the bad, but mostly just the sad. He has been living and working in Oregon for the past seventeen years. It has been twenty long years since he left Oklahoma following his high school graduation in 1966. Without warning his mother calls to deliver the bad news that his father has died. In that moment he knows she needs him to come home to help bury his father. KJ is truly devastated that he had not returned home sooner, now, it's forever too late to tell his father goodbye.

As the one and only son, KJ quickly reaizes that he must stay for several months and help manage the family farm for his mother. Old relationships become entwined with new relationships as the story unfolds. After helping his mother begin a new life. His own becomes shattered with the intrusion of his past.

Despite evil lurking in the dark shadows, progress is made as he supports his mother by managing the farm and getting her setted in her new place. There is a sense of peace knowing she is safe and happy.in her new surroundings. However, KJ's path is anything but clear; Which road should he take? Evil is spreading and must be stopped. The map is clear, but the way is clouded with unfathomable emotional anquish.
