Many years have been passed since America and indeed the whole world suffered a financial and societal breakdown. People have had to form communities and battle not only bandits and other raiders but an ever building out reaching tyrannical new government entity; ever striving to enslave its people for its own ends. Sari lives in this mad world and has seen the death of the world she knew but also her loved ones and continues to battle those that seek her destruction. She was trained by her soldier father and has an inner core of strength, common sense and wisdom beyond her, that people seem drawn to.
