For centuries, there has been something evil beneath the ground at Rivers Bend. It has been there waiting, calling out to afflicted dark souls to seek it. Creatures are drawn to this place, some unknowingly, and others search for the source of this dark power. For some, the hunger for supremacy consumes them no matter the cost. What has been buried below the earth at Rivers Bend? What evil power could entice vampires, witches, and werewolves to be consumed by its allurement?
This sequel to Where the Black River Bends, follows along with new characters and is a continuation of the interlinked stories and characters from the first book. Shadows on the Black River is a convergence of those tales as it brings those characters and more together for a battle of good and evil. Mr. Vernon and his daughter Sharron must fight to hold the line of light as evil darkness encircles the town. There is evil in our world and no matter its form, it is waiting for us, always ready to strike. There is good in this world. However it cannot sit idle in the face of creatures set on its destruction. Can Sharron and Mr. Vernon fight back the dark in Rivers Bend? The battle there may decide the fate for us all.
