AI ruins everything

I love the idea of this book. Anything with modern day life involving angels and demons is usually really cool. Unfortunately like a lot of things people sub out for AI, this was just so flat. The tones and inflictions from the AI narrator were so weird at some points and made no sense. Like those narrators you can tell are just reading words. Narrators can really turn a book into a place you escape reality when done right. I’m sure there’s a lovely person out there who would love to be paid to narrate this. I didn’t finish it honestly since the voice was just so disconnected. Hope to revisit one day if there’s a real person on the other end!
