An excellent bookend to Shadow and Light

This book is an excellent bookend to the previous novel, Shadow and Light. Neatly wrapping up the first stage of the story of Kirin and Terrell. The world building proceeds apace with out overwhelming you but bringing in relevant and interesting aspects of Silbar and the larger world. A bit of mystery, politics and action, enjoyed it.

The Virtual Voice continues to do a fair job at narration, but to enjoy the book as much as the story deserves you need to keep in mind that it is Virtual Voice and there will be issues.
