Great Read
Shadow Descendant was a great read by L.D. Hall. Naomi has always felt a strange energy that hums below her senses. She has never understood it but one day an ancient artifact gives her the answers she needs. Alaric is a vampire who has been assigned to protect Naomi traveling through London following the artifact to get answers. This was a great read.

Naomi is a museum curator, and her life will never be the same when she comes across an ancient artifact. This artifact may lead her to an explanation of the strange sensations she’s been experiencing for years.
Alaric is a vampire who has been tasked with keeping an eye on Naomi, and keeping her safe... but who will save him?
L.D. Hall has created an interesting storyline, where witches and vampires live amongst us. Price Waldman delivered a great performance.
This is a great start to a new series!

INTERSTING. GOOD START FOR A NEW SERIES.
Enjoyable. Interesting plot and characters. Narration by Price Waldman is good. His voices for the female characters are acceptable. A few tense moments but I hope there will be more action in the next book. As this is the first book in the series I am sure there will more developments in future books. Overall I like the storyline and it flows smoothly throughout.

Naomi is a museum curator in Greece and one day a unique piece of antiquity crosses her person. She's drawn to it as it seems to start a subtle vibration within her. Alaric is a vampire who has been assigned to keep her not only under observation but protected. The same night the object is brought to her, it is stolen by witches. Alaric, in keeping a guard save, looses his chance to get the artifact. Then the witches go after Naomi. Alaric rescues her and when she awakens she finds herself in London and learning that her family are something more than what she assumed. Life becomes dangerous as enemy forces try to kidnap her. Life is also becoming emotionally difficult as she and Alaric try to figure out what they mean to each other.
Price Waldman is a fantastic narrator who brings each individual to life!

Loved This Story!
Loved this paranormal romance between a young lady who had no idea who her parents and ancestors really were and a vampire with a deadened heart who was assigned to protect her from evil forces. There’s lots of adventure and danger that will keep you on edge as you listen along to this story.
