Acerca de esta escucha

In his seminal 1905 work, "The Life of Reason: Reason in Common Sense," American philosopher George Santayana proclaimed, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Echoing this sentiment, British poet and playwright W. H. Auden added, "Those that do study history are doomed to stand by while everyone else repeats it."

The author, who began writing non-fiction books in the 1970s while working as a real estate attorney, delves into the fallacy of prophecy, asserting that it is not about predicting the future but rather recognizing the patterns of history and their inherent tendency to repeat.

Drawing upon his research into the Hebrew calendar and the work of authors William Strauss and Neil Howe on generational theory, the author explores the cyclical nature of history and the cultural disruptions that occur approximately every 25 years.

While acknowledging biblical references, this book primarily focuses on historical analysis and the convergence of multiple cyclical patterns that point towards a period of extreme social and cultural upheaval.

Originally intended as a projection of the 2024 election and the possibility of World War III in 2033/36, the author's perspective was altered by the outbreak of the Hamas-Israel War. This conflict added context and validity to the author's concerns, drawing parallels to the events leading up to the rise of the Nazi regime and World War II.

The author highlights the association of great advancements and devastating events with the emergence of Hebrew culture over the past three millennia. He argues that pagan resistance to change has fueled the development of Western societies while also perpetuating antisemitism and suppressing the byproducts of the cultural norms outlined in the Torah and the Qur'an.

Hamas, a Hebrew word meaning "violent ones who bear false witness," has aligned itself with the Roman name for the region that the Qur'an, through Moses, bestowed upon the Hebrews. This territory, west of Mount Zion and Jerusalem, stretches from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

When Hamas supporters chant "From the River to the Sea Palestine shall be free," they are echoing the promise made to the children of Israel by Yahweh-Allah. This claim, rooted in Exodus 3:8, Numbers 34:2, and multiple verses in the Qur'an, exemplifies the repetition of historical narratives.

The author acknowledges the lies being propagated to guide people towards a path of nuclear destruction. He also recognizes that, like climate change and the global internet, destruction may be necessary to create a future of peace and harmony. However, he emphasizes the urgency of comprehending these historical patterns to prevent Gen Z from experiencing the horrors of World War III.

The author's call to action is directed towards an intelligent readership capable of comprehending historical parallels. He urges them to break free from Auden's passive observation and take action to prevent those in power from dictating their fate. For Gen Z, the consequences of inaction could be catastrophic, as they would face the brunt of a Third World War before the first nuclear bomb even falls.

In essence, this book poses two fundamental questions: do we believe that people repeat the actions and echo the logic of their ancestors? And, are we willing to risk witnessing the next phase of military technology, a phase that could elevate the United States from the sole nation to have employed nuclear weapons to a world where multiple countries possess this destructive capability?
