Honest Storylibe

Of all the Nirvana and Kurt Cobain books I've consumed this seems the most honest and indepth recollection of the time

I enjoyed this book.

It was refreshing to hear from someone one liked Curt and who was a friend. It has new stories in it and a personal look at things I have only heard about before. (The last intervention, Curt being very sweet to some other people). I also like to hear a book read by the author. In short, I’m glad I chose this biography.

Definitely meet expectations

loved this one got through it quick. Great presentation and perspective from the bands manager and inspiring. What a legacy this group has left on the world

A great book from the perspective of Danny Goldberg who was front and center for the tail end of Kurt's life. R.I.P. Kurt, we miss you!

I loved this book

Read by the author and former manager of the bad, Danny Goldberg whom offers a unique and different account of the mainstream narrative of Kurt's life and demeanor. There are many anecdotes that present Kurt as a kind and thoughtful man. You can really feel the pain Mr. Goldberg still feels at the loss of this great, talented man. I highly recommend this fine work.

Nostalgic and rose tinted

Now that I'm getting older I'm a lot more forgiving of the level of rose-tented-ness going on here. If you lived through something this important 20+ years ago, you're going to remember it and the people with fondness. I've listened to a lot of artist memoirs. It was surprisingly a refreshing change of pace to hear it not from a researcher or from the artist's own point of view, but from the perspective of someone else who was there at the time.

Touching and well written

Very touching to learn more about Kurt Cobain from someone who was so close to him. Beautifully written. Thank you so much for sharing the stories, many of which made me smile, followed by uncontrollable tears by the end reliving the moment of hearing Kurt Cobain had killed himself.
