These are not all the sermons I have preached during my over 50+ years in ministry, but they are the ones that survived the moves, different mediums, and various computer systems. I have collected them in this volume as a gift for my family. Not that I think I am a great sermonizer or orator, but for them to see the Bible through my eyes.

Although I used a variety of commentaries and Bibles throughout my ministry there were three references I returned to over and over again. I found the Amplified Bible a great help as it showed me the nuances found in various words often with very different meanings or outcomes. The Broadman Commentary series and William Barclay’s The Daily Study Bible Series served as my primary sources for understanding the core of the Scripture.

Finally, the sermons are in English and Spanish. I speak (and read) both languages and do not need to translate the material to preach from one language notes into the other. Oh, and the sermons are in a variety of “finished” states. Some are entire manuscripts which I followed to the letter. Others are outlines, and still others are just basic frameworks which I never finished. For those who are interested, I have also included links to the YouTube channel where many of the sermons can be viewed.
