Callie’s easy breezy personality is perfect for her job as office manager for her brother’s pediatric practice. She happily moved to Rocky Ridge to take over the role when he needed her. The small town atmosphere suits her more than she expected.

Life has dealt some hard blows to Zeke and internalizing the pain has made him become angry and withdrawn. He keeps putting one foot in front of the other hoping that some day he’ll get over his turbulent childhood. The part he knows will never get better is the loss of his baby and eventually his marriage.

When these two meet, there’s instant chemistry. Callie ignores her brother’s caution that Zeke may not be the best choice for her. She can’t ignore her feelings and vows to win him over.
