Great introduction to Wiccan Herbal Magic for...

I don't think I would look at herbs the same way again! I know that many herbs can be used therapeutically but learning about the herbal magic and how it helps bring us back in line with the natural world through this book was quite intriguing. This is my first time learning about Wiccan herbal magic and this book provided a great introduction for a newbie like myself. Though as a scientist by trait, I have a difficult time reconciling the comparison of Wiccan practice to scientific practice. However, I agree that science haven't been able to explain everything; thus, we must make room for the unnatural event in this world.

Interesting and Well Read

I"m all about herbs, so I can appreciate this book for that reason. I'm not so much into the Wiccan side of things, however, the detoxing and other benefits of herbs are amazing and powerful. This book gives me a very clear look at the benefits of the herbs discussed here, and it makes me even more excited to utilize these in different ways. It was well written and well-read!

This book was very well narrated and a fantastic guide to anyone interested in Herbalism. The author takes a very simple approach that makes it easy for beginners to understand! 5 stars!

Spellbinding!

My grandma always used to speak to me about Wicca and practicing druidic rituals with her sisters growing up in Kerry, and I had always wanted to gain an understanding into the practice, or at least where to start. Secrets of the Mystical Powers of Wiccan Herbal Magic is the perfect title for the interested or entry level practitioner looking to gain insight into the philosophy, ethos, and utility of Wicca, along with a few simple incantations and spells specifically for healing.

Good book

I never listened or read a book about the power of plants and herbs. I always new in the back of my mind that plants can have a positive effect on your mind, body and soul. But this guide is definitely very well put together. I now know what each plant can do. For instance, I didn't know that thyme can help you with feelings of depression.

Because I didn't know anything about this topic, I loves the fact the author also talked about a the history of plant magic.

I recommend this one.. Good narration too..

Fantastically to the point overview/beginner's guide to Wiccan Herbal Magic.
It's surprisingly comprehensive and well put together from a beginner's perspective.
I'd recommend this to anyone just starting on their journey.

I really liked the chapter on smudging.

As a neophyte to the world of Wicca

I found this audiobook very helpful. As I'm new to the world of Wicca, all the different elements of practice seem overwhelming.

Luckily, this book is broken down into very manageable chapters with a wealth of information for the beginner. I look forward to reading more of Stewart's books. So, if you are particularly interested in the aspects of herbalism, simple spells and healing rituals - this concise audio presentation will certainly give you the essential knowledge you are seeking.

We are all in a quest for knowledge in this uncertain world. In fact, the world seems more uncertain day by day and I'm looking to make sense of it. This audiobook has gone a long way in helping me find some answers to my own personal questions. Plus the narrator had a lovely lilting voice.
