I don’t like virtual voice

I’ve never done this before because generally I enjoy every book I read or listen to. While I enjoyed the storyline, for him to have been a billionaire lawyer, it took him a long while to connect all the pieces, and then he still didn’t connect them all. It was disappointing to me

Also, I am not a fan of virtual voice. The way mafia was pronounced graded on me every time it was said.

Good story line

Virtual voice was terrible as it was hard sometimes to figure out who was speaking as the voice was the same.

Would be better with a narrator.

This would be much better with an actual person reading instead of A. I. virtual voice. This takes away from the story that has the potential to be pretty good. It's a short novel with a good premise, but it gets lost when you try to understand the words spoken by the AI voice.

Multiple instances where Story seemed to skip

Spoilers ahead. I had to keep rewinding to figure out how they went from one scene to another without transition. one paragraph they're sitting down dinner the next they are done with dinner. Confusing, one talking next sentence is "his tip at my entrance". Next is new chapter. No explanation of wealth, Not a fan of a book that has the main character paid off by parents to go away BEFORE finding out she's pregnant and then never letting him know she has had a child. Then waiting until the end of the book to tell him the truth. Add in the virtual voice, and you get a book that can be skipped.
