A war between the Soviet Union and the United States has been going on for years. Americans have resorted to guerrilla warfare, with small contingents operating deep within the enemy-occupied territory. As a desperate measure, they have constructed extremely efficient killer robots called claws that can operate on their own and are capable of repairing themselves and improving on their own design. Be careful what you design. Never make it smarter than yourself. This is one of the best of Philip K. Dick's stories.

The story is great! I've read it before. However, this sounds like some guy read it in his bedroom. Couldn't even finish it!

I love Phillip K. Dick, and this is just such a great story. But the narration was horrific. Tone and pacing was completely off.
