A hellion and an old family curse

Poor Gavin has loved Odessa from a distance to afraid his family curse would destroy her. Watch Odessa break through the fears that have plagued Gavin for years was quite enjoying. It’s a quick listen, a sweet love story that proves love wins in the end. Definitely recommend

This has to be one of my favourite books lately.

I loved the whole falling for her brothers best friend idea, and it’s not every day I’ll admit that lol

Odessa had been in love with her brothers best friend since childhood. Finally after years of him fighting his feelings for her and his fear of losing her to a family curse they’re stranded during a snow storm. Surfing a harmless card game he asks her for a simple kiss. However, one kiss leads to a night that neither of them will soon forget.

I loved the story and the characters so much!!! I hope to hear more from this author very soon.

Short sweet and to the point, fun listen

A short fun listen that was very entertaining, I have listened to everyone in this series and have totally loved them all. This is a great addition, it is short sweet and to the point. I did think the ending was too fast but that is the way short stories usually go. Odessa has picked her man but her man has a family curse on the woman they marry he won’t take the chance of losing her. She won’t give up until she has what she wants. The two are at odds and only one will come out the winner. If Odessa wins than so does Gavin but at what cost.

The narrator did a wonderful job with his character voices putting the right tones with the emotions. Pulling the listener in giving a highly entertaining listen. I always knew who was talking, what they were feeling. There are no repeating of words, no volume change, if any breaks were taken I could not tell. I thought he really brought the story to life. I do wish it was longer but it was a great performance that I totally enjoyed.

I loved the plot and the characters, I thought it really added to the series. I do wish it has been longer the ending came too fast.

Just the absolute best story. Everything I like to listen about and more. Such a great story I will listen again and again. A keeper!!

Odessa & Gavin

Lady Odessa Lynwood and Gavin Barrington, the Earl of Havenwood's story is book ten in the Linked Across Time series. Another well written story that held my interest throughout. It has a very good storyline that flows smoothly across the pages, and is well worth both reading and listening to. I enjoyed David Wayman's narration of the story he brings the story to life.

Secluded with My Hellion

I so enjoyed this short listen. Dawn Brower did an excellent job with developing the story in a short amount of time. I liked the slow burn of this book, where the characters knew each other for years and loved each other despite trying not to. The book kept me interested and even had some subtle humor. David Wayman did great with his performance in giving distinguished voices for various characters. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Great short story

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I enjoyed this story, good characters and plot. Odessa and Gavin have loved each other for years, but Gavin is afraid that the "curse" that plagues his family would affect Odessa if they married, Odessa only wants him and no other. Narrator David Wayman does a good job with the characters and story.

Enchanting

This was so good. I enjoyed the way the characters interact and the ending was perfect. The narration was good. Enjoyable author.

Great short story!

This is the book 10 of the Linked Across Time Series. I haven't listened to the first books in the Series, but I'd love to! I loved this sweet short love story! This story is really beautifully written and surprisingly well developed. Gavin's family story was so heartbreaking! Odessa and Gavin are wonderful characters. They share a great chemistry and they got their HEA. I loved the Epilogue! The narration was well done and easy to listen. The narrator has a great voice. I enjoyed my listening and I totally recommend this audiobook. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
