Wow! I could not stop listening to this book.

Wow! I could not stop listening to this book. I just HAD to know what happens next! Aunt Phoebe was absolutely infuriating I mean, I kinda wanted to slap her. Amanda is such a sweet, kind soul, and as much as I tried not to like Eric, I couldn’t help myself, which made this story even more intriguing and utterly unputdownable.

The audiobook narration by Lisa Lynn Sandlin was perfect. She brought every emotion to life, the tension, the heartbreak, the quiet tender moments and made me feel like I was right there with Amanda and Eric through every twist and turn. Her voice wraps around the story and your heart in the most immersive way possible.

Now I’m diving into the third in the series. I just have to know what happens next!!!

The Three of Us

Season of Deception is a book you won’t want to put down. I listened to the audiobook and it had great narration. Amanda is still struggling with her life. Being a model and having a private life, doesn’t happens, plus she needs to move on from Tyler. Meeting Eric is by accident. Her aunt Phoebe has messed with her life one too many times and now her safety is a concern. There is so much tension love and an amazing storyline for all to enjoy. I can’t say enough about the main characters, you will love the three of them. This second book in the series, will make you anticipate what will happen in book 3.

Such a great story

Season of Deception is the second book I have read written by Sara Jane Jacobs and I cannot wait to read the third book in this series. This book had me so swept in, that I thought I was only going to listen to 10 minutes, as I drifted off to sleep and it kept me up for four hours. I had to finish the book. I could not sleep until I found out what happened.

I was able to enjoy the audiobook version of this book narrated by Lisa Lynn Sandlin. It was so well narrated. Lisa brought the characters to life. She had me so immersed in the book that when I tried putting it on to listen to as I was going to sleep, the next thing I knew it was three in the morning.

The character development was great. I loved picking right where Amanda left off from the last book and watching her spread her wings more. While going through heart break and trying to figure things out. I did not want to like Eric. Especially after being so invested in Tyler, but man, I was also rooting for Eric. He is a gentleman.

The setting for this story was great. We have New York and Paris. The storyline was great. It had me totally invested in the whole story. Some of the elements that made it such a great story include modeling, millionaire, stolen letters, New York, Paris, heart break, faith, romance, stockers, biker gang and more.

The romance was sweet and kisses only paired with second chance

So much emotion!

WOW! This was phenomenal! I did not expect things to go the way they did and for amanda to be so happy. I still really don't like her aunt and wish she never let her have so much control. I feel so angry for Amanda, Tyler, and Eric! 😭 This is written and narrated in a way that you feel like you actually know the characters. I feel like I'm in their head, see what they see, and feel what they feel. I am in desperate need for book 3!!!!!

Absolutely Love this series!!

Oh I can't get enough of this series, it beautiful, heart wrenching, heart warming :) humorous, dramatic, and keeps you coming back for more. It's a Christian romance with little to no action or real exciting things but it doesn't even need it, you are just so invested in all the character lives that you want to keep reading as fast as possible. Its fast pace but also slow-ish like I don't know how to describe it, things move quickly but it also really dives into details and you live out months/years of time with these characters, getting to know them so well and felling in love or hating, (IYKYK) them.

You really understand why this book has this title within a few chapters and it's definitely one of those books where you know the truth and have to read the MC go through everything while knowing. So it was hard, like I was scared for what would happen when the truth came out, because I loved them and didn't want nobody getting hurt. It's a pretty wild ride of emotions I'll tell you that.

There is some new character additions who I LOVED, and and one in particular added so much heart, healing, and care to the story as well as our FMC. Relationships blossom while others crumble, hearts break and mend. Everything is just so perfect, the worldbuilding, character development, like you feel you know them, like your living it all with them, (could also be because I listened as an audiobook lol which I 100% recommend because the narrator is amazing!)

And that ending!! Everything you could possibly think of happening, happened! Like that's where the action and dash of danger happened, the fear, the heart pounding moments, and conclusions, oh my! Just you must read it, okay, I can't say anymore without spoiling it. Can't wait to read the next one!

Lisa does it again! I love this series so much and I don't think I can finish it without listening to Lisa narrating it because she is the voice of these characters now, no way around it! Like this book is a rollercoaster of emotions and Lisa does so well portraying them all, you get so connected to the characters, they are my friends now okay ;) The book also switches between povs within chapters occassionally which can get confusing while listening but the fact that Lisa gives them their own personality, attitude, and voice it makes it much easier to figure out who's head were in, I 100% recommend this listening to these books or reading it because they are THAT good!!
