Carly and Leo go home to Asbury Park, New Jersey for Christmas, only to be surprised by a visit from Verity, Ethan, and everyone’s favorite feline, Nicodemus! Together, they begin a search for any descendants of the shipwreck's survivors. Leo’s selkie house-sitter, Paul, asks their help for a local garage-grunge band who have been receiving threats over a song about a woman suing the man who had accused her of witchcraft three hundred years ago. The police dismiss the threats as publicity stunts until accidents begin to happen to the band members. Carly, Leo, and their friends need to find out who is behind these nefarious events before someone winds up dead! Isn’t three hundred years a long time to hold a grudge?
