I can't really say what's so different without giving too much away, so ....
I'll just say don't expect what you might... OKAY?
ARGH.
YES, there is MUCH suspense while the crew hunt their prehistoric horrors
BUT, WOE... this sea going tale is oh so SHORT!
A mini-novel.
A one issue comic book.
The first chapter of a really great epic tale.
A warm up... we just start to know the characters, their hopes, their fears.
Then we say good bye...

PLUS...
We never really address the great White Whale in the room that's not harpooned!
We sit about with the crew drinking in their brews, waiting for even more tales...
Maybe more action... and less drinking?
Maybe? Naw...!
There's plenty of action, we hardly ever leave the water.

But then, why do I still have a terrible thirst for MORE battles with vicious fishes?

Let's hope this is the first novel in a series soon to be filled out.

Ohhh he’ll from dozen books by this author I like it was only a matter of time where the author had a book that was annoying chacthers troupes of fishermen and a random sea monster that wasn’t scary just dumb
