Great overview of real life events behind the book

Great overview of the real life events that inspired some of the greatest sea stories of all time. This book has motivated me to go back and re-read some of the various authors novels with a greater insight on how closely they are based actual events and experiences. Plus it has introduced to many works I'd never heard of.
