good vs evil

loved the minimal explicit sexual content and the theme of good vs evil with a species that are portrayed by a species inherently seen as evil

Another great series!

Story jumps right in and keeps moving! Love the characters and relationships. Narrator gave another stellar performance. Love the crossover of the other characters from the other series. Would recommend this series and this author.

I liked it, I didn’t fast forward once

I liked this story. It’s been a while since I heard a story with a FMC who wasn’t whiny and mean for no reason. She was strong and determined. The only times I disliked her was when she would push people when they were ready to talk.. oh your brother just died and your sad? “Well I had 10 years to realize you can’t live in grief.” Yeah.. you had 10 years let’s give the guy a couple days before we push him for anything. Same with Maciah after the mansion incident. If he isn’t ready after only hours give him a minute damn. I also liked the secondary characters they were all pretty wonderful, which doesn’t happen often in books. A lot of things were answered but I’m left with one burning question; they said Viktor had locked away in his home where nobody ever saw them, people who helped give him his black magic. Now that viktor is handled, where and what happened to those witches, mages, exc whatever they were? They were just forgotten about. Are they going to be a problem? Did they like working with him and if not, did somebody else use them to power themselves up? Or are they just sitting in a room somewhere slowly dying now that nobody is feeding and watering them? You get what I mean. Just it seems like they could be a problem on there own to Maciah, Amhersyn, Zeek and Rachel and possibly even Dave.

All the Emotions in this Conclusion

Oh wow!!! I loved this series! I was brought from one extreme emotion to the other all throughout. Wonderful storyline.

I loved being able to listen to the entire series at one time. I enjoyed the stories. The narrator did a good job. I'd definitely recommend listening to this set of books story line is completed in the last book.
