Is this the best friends-to-lovers ever?

This might be the best example of friends-to-lovers I’ve ever seen. You absolutely do not need to have read the first book of the series to enjoy this one. Tennyson is a character I just found myself rooting for from start to finish - she’s on a mission to take the reins of her life and it’s really exciting to watch her journey. This book, it has to be said, starts in *exactly* the right spot, so you get thrown straight into the action. Loved seeing these characters evolve and find their HEA, even though I absolutely wanted to reach into my phone and shout at Dominic on and off throughout, what a loveable dummy who can’t see what’s right in front of his nose.

The h was a door mat watching the man she loved since she was 11 yrs old have a different woman almost every night for years she also works for him and when she finally gets a back bone to get a new job he trys his hardest to get her to stay and its okay for him to be with women but not okay for her to be with men. F*** that!! Im sorry isn't enough. He kept turning her down because she was his friend and he cared about football (his job more than her ) or many women just no, the women would have been a deal breaker long time ago for me.

Wonderful book and narration!

This was my first book by Naima Simone (accidentally listened out of order) and I've already downloaded a second! Loved it so much, and CJ Bloom is a fantastic narrator!

A slow burn friends to lovers sports rom com

Heard about this book on the fated mates podcast and decided to give it a try and I really enjoyed it. CJ Bloom is one great narrator and really brought the book to life. The couple grew up in foster care system together and she has been in love with him forever but he could not love her (his words). She decided to quit her job as his PA which woke him up to how much things would change. Naima wrote some really funny banter between the MC and the secondary characters so it was fun to listen. The sexy times are hot AF and I really enjoyed it.

One of my favorites by Naima Simone

This was the second book in the wags series from Naima Simone. Tennyson Clark is trying to move on in her life and that includes moving away from the one person that she is in love with and that she is closest to, her best friend Dominic Anderson star quarterback for the Seattle warriors. Tenny is also Dom’s PA so when she tells him she is changing jobs that changes everything with the stress of everything. Can they work through their feelings or will they ruin their friendship.

This book was so good friends to lovers, unrequited love it’s all here. I could not put this book down.

great story, author and narration

I love the this series and the way each one follows the group of main characters. Another thing I really like about this author is the sense of humor her stories show. I absolutely laughed out loud at some of the conversations and phrases the female main character uses. The narrator is one of the best I've heard. She is so good at the male voices sometimes I forget it's not a gu Live this series.

Intense

The story is intensely hot and offers just enough character background that allows you to connect with them. CJ Bloom’s narration is pleasing to ears while encompassing the sensual dialogue of the story.

I can’t get enough.

I am really liking these WAGS books. This is a friends to benefits with an extra order of one sided love and a dessert of denial.

Two foster kids who became each other’s rock or maybe barnacles as they grew up.

Tennyson has seen Dominic become a star football player and a ladies man all while harboring a love since they were kids.

Dominic has blinders when it comes to Tennyson’s goals and dreams all while becoming dependent on her presence. When she makes moves to become more independent, his game suffers.

The story does get sort of irritating with Dominic’s hold on Tennyson. And her fear of branching out also affects her friendship with him.

Add hot sex and the drama just gets bigger.

Now what the story lacked for me, the writing really was easy to consume. Naima Simone’s writing is just an easy flow for me and I really really enjoy that. CJ Bloom turns in another amazing performance.

Basically I need more.

The actual greatest friends to lovers ever written.

This book is steamy and sexy and angsty and so good. It will punch you in your feelings and you’ll love every second.

Sexy Friends to Lovers

This was a wonderful friends to lovers romp! And I have to say....the sex scenes where smokin'! I am so glad I found this series and this author. CJ Bloom does a wonderful job with the dual POV on the audiobook. Wonderful from start to finish!
