Another great installment

Maddie Day has written another great installment in the Country Store Mystery series. All the usual characters are present and there’s an intriguing mystery to solve as well.
Laural Merlington as always gave a standout performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I highly look forward to the next in series.

Narrator Not Appropriate

It was a good story. However, the narrator did not sound appropriate for the main character.
The character is in her 30’s. The narrator sounds twice that age and with dentures. I am not condemning her age because I am that age also. However, the voice just did not match the main character.

Great cozy mystery!

Great book in an equally wonderful series! A dead body is found in Robbie Jordan’s Aunt Adele’s sheep farm. What will happen first: Robbie solves the crime or her baby arrives? The narration is excellent.

Quite a journey from book 1

I've been reading and listening to this series for about 2 years now. Always a welcomed escape and distraction from the more negative parts of life. Absolutely loved this one. I hope it's not the end of the series. This book was
extra cozy and unapologetically woke which was refreshing 🤍

Narrator Doesn’t Match Main Character

It’s probably just where I am in my expectations but the narrator is clearly much older than Robbie. That would be fine if the story wasn’t told in first person. Same as the last book. Should have bought the printed version.
