In Scared Sober, Connor and his best friends Kevin and Kelly have the distinction of being best of class drinkers in Ballybrook. But one prodigious night of drinking after Connor breaks up with his girlfriend changes all that, as Connor gets the scare of his life. In Deaf Widow Dunphy, a neighbor plots to inherit the house of her deaf neighbor. But all does not go as she planned. In The Love Lamb, two sheepherders, Seamus and Colleen, meet one rain-swept day on the moors over Ballybrook. Attraction leads to strife which leads to a bet involving their sheep and an upcoming Fair. The men of Ballybrook weigh in, the men on which sheep will win and the women on whether love will win. Ultimately, it takes a lamb for love to blossom.
