Hired by the Ironton, Michigan school district to introduce knowledge of systemic racism and LGBTQ bullying in the curriculum, the new teachers, Finny and his boyfriend Drake, succeed. Their personal lives join with other teens and adults to enjoy the fun of the woods and waters of the Upper Peninsula. Friendship, fun, and humor make for loving family interactions.

Even in a safe town, evil exists. Trafficking hunters are able to secure the release of Liam and Lucas, brothers, from a short yet sad existence. With professional help and the love and kind treatment of Timmy, his boyfriend, and other youths in the community, Liam and Lucas struggle to recover their humanity and boyhood.

Saving Timmy examines topics such as systemic racism, human trafficking, and LGBTQ bullying, what they are and how to lessen their impact as part of the plot without graphic detailing making this story suitable for teens. Many of the characters and settings from my story, Four For All, appear in Saving Timmy. which can be enjoyed as a stand alone. Though this is a HEA story, a follow-up is planned.
