Saved by Grace (An Eye of the Storm Short)

If we were judged by our station in life, particularly how we were born and the circumstances surrounding it, it is inevitable to believe we cannot triumph in victory over situations beyond our control. Oh, but for the triumph of our souls! Ten year-old Alicia's life appeared to be doomed from birth, and the road she traveled in the first decade of her life was proof that there could not possibly be any hope for her. Yet, as she was born, gifts of love, words, passion and the will to live was passed from her mother to her, from her inner spirit to the talents and gifts her mother possessed, as well as her physical beauty.
