The reader made me very uncomfortable

I have a hard time reviewing the book because... While it sounded a bit sweet and sexy - the reader's voice made me very uncomfortable. At first, I thought it was because I jumped the speed - I usually have it set on 2x. Sometimes it makes readers sound weird, so I thought that was it, and slowed it down. NO! It was not... The reader's voice doesn't sound steady - it sounds like he's trying to tell a bear why he shouldn't attack him again.

It just is really shakey, and pitches up and down without rhythm - so it was very distracting for the story. Maybe the story is better than I remember. Maybe it's awful. I'm not sure - I just know I got too focused on the reader's voice.

Narrator did not sound age appropriate.

The narrator did a good job, but I find it off putting and distracting to hear characters who are young being portrayed by someone who has such an aged voice...Its like listening to my grandfather describing the sex scenes..Yuck....I had to fast forward past them. Consider age appropriate narrator for future works.

First Same Sex Book & I Loved It

Very sweet, short and to the point. I really enjoyed it & now I want to listen to more same sex love stories ! ❤️

Terrible Narration

The story was sweet, but this narration was horrible. Slow, shaky and weird pitches in the story at the wrong time. Sounded like a creepy old man.

Wonderful

Wonderful book. Nice to see a positive long term gay couple. It is so worth the read.

Narration!!! Eh!!!

Lex Valentine is a top m/m romance writer...so why o why did this story get slammed with a horrible narrator... I couldn't even get past chapter 1...
