mostly romance sappy not adventure

That is pretty much the gist of it.I was hoping for more post-apocalyptic excitement.Adventure , but it's mostly sappy , love , stories , inner monologues and really not what I would expect for an end of world book... might be your style.. its decent I guess. Just boring.
