What a tease!

This book left me wanting more. I want to hear more of the back story! I also want to know what happens next!

I love their love story.

I wish more of their past had been discussed. I do love that they got their second chance. I do love that they had to rebuild themselves and each other. I like that the narrators used emotions to portray what we should be feeling. Overall well put together. Now need the rest of the series. You got me hooked Kayla.

I Need the next book!

I need to listen to the next book A Sap!!! Roman, heart eyes!!! I need to know what happens next!!!!

Powerful Storytelling and Phenomenal Narration

This book was gripping and descriptive from the start, Presley’s strength and fight for survival had me holding my breath, and Roman’s loyalty and intensity made my heart ache. The writer builds a vivid MC world filled with emotion, suspense, and heat. The narrator captures every ounce of passion and pain perfectly, bringing the story to life in a way that makes it impossible to stop listening.

A missed opportunity

This book said a whole lot without saying nothing. I was more than halfway through this book and almost stopped. The first 2 hours is just inner monologue of the two main characters and how they felt about each other. There is little to no dialogue between the two. There beginnings is vague at best. There is no character development. I was left asking lots of questions. Then all of a sudden she gets kidnapped. Cliffhanger!!!!!

I feel like there was lots of opportunity to build these characters in the beginning by expanding on the relationship before the breakup or his actual position in the MC and why it was so important to protect her. I would have liked more dialogue between MFC and her best friend.

The last 40 mins of the book there was a lot more dialogue, which I liked. The story has potential it just moved way too fast with no build up only to be left with a cliffhanger that really didn’t leave me wanting more.

I will say the narrator did I a good job. I enjoyed listening to her.
