Not All Modalities Work
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book repeatedly put me to sleep. I've enjoyed all of Austen's books, and perhaps the audible version doesn't work for me. I will have to try the hardcopy of 'Sanditon.'
Has "Sanditon" and Excerpts from the Novels turned you off from other books in this genre?
No. There will be others.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Flo Gibson?
Wouldn't have changed the narration.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from "Sanditon" and Excerpts from the Novels?
I would have introduced a little more action among the stories of individual characters.
Any additional comments?
Unfortunately, I'm hard-pressed to relate much, if anything, about the story. There was an accident with a carriage early on, and much to-do about the new seaside resort of Sanditon, but I came away with little else.
