Becca Rose Wimberly, had wanted to be a real cowgirl her whole life. Part of that dream had come true when her Grampaw and Granmaw took her out West when she was eleven. Two years have passed and now she is setting out to spend part of her summer vacation at her Aunt Millie and Uncle Jakes San Saba Ranch in the Texas Hill Country. She cannot wait to ride their gentle mare, Dolly, whom she loves as much as her own horse Silver. She cannot wait to eat Aunt Millie’s wonderful cooking and help with the ranch chores. She doesn’t look forward to her “stupid cousin” Dub and his pranks. But she is older now and can handle him quite well. One thing she does not know is this summer would hold another really special surprise!
