Eclipse’s mission is to protect Orianna from the demons who are out to lay claim to her soul. Somewhere along the way, that mission changes, priorities are shifted, and destinies are revealed. By the time the dust settles, Orianna and Eclipse will learn that salvation comes in many forms.

Loved this!!

This was another great PNR book! Orianna and Eclipse are destined mates and this is their tale! Orianna has been searching for her sister who disappeared and not heard from for a long time. Her mother is confined to a wheelchair and is frail.

Orianna meets Eclipse in an alley when she is accosted by someone thinking she was her sister Amber, Eclipse takes the attacker out, but steers clear of his mate afterwards because he’s afraid she won’t want him because he killed a man.

The story is good! I love long, robust books and this is full of information and the story is interesting and it kept me listening.

Need more!!! Good thing they’re out there!!!

Wow this story just keeps getting better. Steeped in intrigue, and steamy romance, packed with hunky Angels, vampires and nasty demons. I can’t wait for more.

Long book, but good story and great performance

This one was super long and it dragged on a bit, but I loved the story and the development of the characters and storyline. I think it could have benefited from a dual narration. While I love Rich Miller, listening to one narrator for 16.5 hours for me is a bit long. I found myself tuning out at some points, even though I was invested in the characters and story. I really enjoyed the world building that Nicole Edwards came up with, she has a great mind and this is an insanely detailed world that was built. I'm looking forward to the 3rd book and knowing more about what happens with the Misplaced Halos!

I’m not really into paranormal…

But this series has my attention!! With lots of references to things of Greek mythology, these characters are very well thought out. I enjoy all of Nicole Edward’s work but this series is right up there with the Walkers in my book. I really hope she continues Misplaced Halos.

Good read, but busy!

This is the first series I'm reading/listening to by Nicole Edwards. I enjoyed the book and now I understand why it's so long! There is a lot more going on here than in the first book. At first I was getting lost because the names are so different and there was a little time between listening to the two books. I have a better grasp of the characters now. The main couple is Eclipse and Orianna. Great storyline! Orianna was so matter of fact and accepting. I liked her. Oliver (Ack, the twist!), Bijou, Kaj, Acadia, and Asmia’s storylines were just as riveting. I'm definitely interested in the next book. It is weird to have angels that are so much like vampires. Maybe by the end of the series it won't seem so foriegn.

Rich Miller did a great job once again. He does both male and female voices well.

This is book 2 in this series, and I would highly recommend beginning with book one. This book picks up where the first book ends. The heroine in this book has been searching for her older sister for years, and the search does not end in how she would expect. Instead she finds her soulmate, whom isn't exactly human. This book is full of action, with many things going on than just this one relationship. I really enjoy this world that Nicole has come up witb, the storyline will grab your attention and keep it right into the next book. Rich does an excellent job with the narrative and changing of characters is seemless. Highly recommend.

Hard to put down... picked up and continued on great... can not wait to see what happens in the next book!!!!!

Nicole Edwards has developed an exciting world with Angels ,Vampires, Faes, who join forces to fight, the demons and Shadow hunters that are threatning them and Humans existence. The war between the Angel and demons are escalating. The vampires join in, but have their own problems. A rogue vampire group and the shadow hunters that want to annihilate them. The Good vampires team up with the Angels and Faes for a battle at the Darkess. This story has a lot action and suspense. Oh this second book is setting up whats coming next. and its going to be a good one! can't wait to see whats in store for them
Rich Miller narration show the love and emotions in this story. I enjoyed listening to this exciting story.
