Salt Breeze

Salt Breeze- a café in Kiskuk Point, Nova Scotia, where gossip is exchanged, friendships are made, and excellent cake is consumed. But all is not well in Kiskuk Point, where an escalating series of crimes needs the intervention of RCMP Officers who ‘come from away’. Unfortunately, it is a seven-hour drive from Port Hawkesbury, where Staff Sergeant Hannah Washington and Corporal Cherrie Foote are based, but it seems that they are destined to make that trip.

In a close-knit fishing community, people tend to close ranks against the outsiders when they have to investigate. Can Hannah and Cherrie find a way in and work out just what happened in Kiskuk Point?

Hannah and Cherrie first appeared in ‘The Chaser’, the seventh Nova Scotia Birder Mystery. In ‘Salt Breeze’ it’s just them, no birds or birders, just two RCMP officers trying to get things to make sense.
