The life of Thérèse—brief, uneventful, and entirely hidden—demonstrates powerfully that obedience to the precepts of the Gospel, practised for the sake of love alone, is fruitful far beyond the limits of time and place. SISTER EILEEN MARY SLG (1921-99) entered the Community of the Sisters of the Love of God in 1952.
