A post-apocalyptic adventure split between two character perspectives, the plots here move forward quickly and in parallel, as a couple separated following a 50-year frozen sleep by which they escaped the destruction seeks to survive and perhaps reunite.

In the aftermath of the solar flare that has hit the earth in all its raging fury, Wren must join her squad to find her way back to civilization. She has lost everything; her family, her chance at the perfect future, and Aiden, the boy who loved her more than she deserved. She finds comfort in her squad, but getting through the horrors of the wild will not be easy.

Aiden has one thought as he leaves the safety of his cryobank; finding the love of his life, Wren. When he is assigned a mission, he seizes the opportunity to find her. He must make everything right, get back the life that they should have had together. But will she even survive, and will she be the same sweet girl that he remembers?
