This novel is the 4th in the six-book Slimy Lawyer Series about Slymon "Slimy" Robichaud, a shyster attorney adept at putting his own interests ahead of those of his unfortunate clients. When Slimy is caught giving under-the-table bribes to real estate agents in order to secure client referrals, his penalty is a four month period of disbarment. Using a phony name in order to avoid humiliation but retain at least a bit of income, Slimy gets a job washing cars at an automobile dealership during the lonely night shift. That's when his new secret life becomes filled with danger and drives poor Slimy to long for the easy life he had ripping off his clients. Each of the six novels in this series is a stand-alone story with a recurring cast of main characters. Donald W.
