Be Careful What You Wish For Because You Just Might Get It!

Aaliyah Shaw applied for, and received, a spot to attend a prestigious school for the arts for her senior year, all expenses paid. She is excited to start living her life the way she believes all other people her age do. But her dreams of freedom and new adventures are quickly doused when Aaliyah finds out that she is not exactly welcomed by the vast majority of the student body.

With his popularity and status in the school taking a big hit because of Aaliyah, the big man on campus, Chase Sophos, makes it his goal to take her down at every turn. Her situation quickly grows even more problematic when she catches the eye of another young man, Spencer Caprio, with many issues of his own.

Her new world is turned completely upside down as she tries to make sense of all the things happening around her. She learns fast that being smart is not the same as knowing everything. Her academic career, her innocence and her life are threatened as Aaliyah makes her way through the day to day reality of being accepted at Halstead Prep.
