Good Story

This was my first Michelle Hughes's book. This is the first book in the Tampa Bay Hospital. Alexa's story is filled with twists and turns, and a lot of drama. Alexa is lucky to have Eric by her side. He is a great character, supportive and protective. I love the ending. Melissa Stiletto did a great job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

Great read

This was a great story. The characters and storyline were well developed. This story took you on a ride full of emotions and feels. The narrator, Melissa Stiletto did a great job bring the the characters to life.

Awesome!

Awesome! This author is new to me. I had the audio version of this one. This is Alexa and Dr. Eric's story. Alexa is a cardiopulmonary manger at a Tampa Bay Hospital. Eric is one of the hot Doc's at the hospital too. Alexa life as she knows it came crashing down when she catches her husband in bed with her sister. Dr.Eric is one sexy doctor, who wants Alexa. This story is one of betrayal, steamy sex, hate, loss, grief, heartbreak, guilt, forgiveness, friendship, and love. I honestly couldn’t put this book down once I started. I'm so ready fro the next one in this series. Keep up the awesome work. I highly recommend reading this one.

Not a huge fan

3.5 stars. The heroine is crazy. She is hot and cold so often I got whiplash

Rollercoaster ride of emotions

Alexa has it all: a dream job, good parents and sister, and a husband. But all of this comes crashing down when she catches her husband in bed with her sister. Eric, a doctor at her hospital, comforts her and they become involved. But he, too, has baggage that weighs on him. Thus begins their rollercoaster relationship. This story is one of betrayal, steamy sex, hate, loss, grief, heartbreak, guilt, forgiveness, friendship, and love. Michelle Hughes has created very lifelike characters that will tug at your emotions.

Melissa Stiletto gives voice to characters and their emotions. I volunteered to receive this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. I recommend this Audible book that is so full of a gamut of emotions.

I laughed and cried during this book!!

I absolutely loved this book! I was angry, I laughed, and I cried in this book!
I really felt like the narration was perfect! I felt her pain and her joy!

cute story

This wasnt a bad story. I think it could have been better with a bit stronger heroine. I found her weak. I had hard time liking her. She couldnt stand in her feet without being negative. The plot had a few holes. sometimes was it really necessary to bring back things that were resolved. other times,it skipped over important things.
ex, mom faints, then does chest compressions. no where did it say she wasnt breathing. nothing about divorce but getting remarried.

the narrator was great. she kept me listening to the story.

overall I would like to seen this story better edited, proofread.

but dont let my thoughts deter you from giving this a listen.

loved the narration

I've been a little uncertain how to write this review. First, the narration was incredible. I've never listened to Melissa Stiletto before but she did an amazing job. I loved the medical talk as I work in the hospital system and participate in emergency/code response and for the most part, it was very accurate which was nice. There were a couple of times that I felt wouldn't have happened but otherwise spot on.
For the story itself, I had a hard time finding it believable and didn't really love the main character all that much. I think the author was trying to convey that Alexa was struggling to find herself and learning how to make decisions for herself and not for others but I really wanted to slap her a couple of times. I'm not sure I would have gotten over my fear of Eric's temper as easily or quickly as she did. And I didn't love that Logan was potentially going to take advantage of her drunk request - that's not consent in my mind, when it appeared that he was more sober. Although I do like the friendship they developed later and that she was able to help heal the rift between him and Eric.
It does have a HEA and again, loved the narration. But the story itself had its ups and downs for me.

Just what the Doctor Prescribed but more pleasant

I know pretty lame headline, lol. I received this audiobook free as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer for an honest review. I really enjoyed this Tampa Bay Hospital story. Seeing your husband in bed with your sister is enough to derail any one. Is Eric a rebound for Alexa, or is it real. The turmoil of their relationship tests their strength. This story has just the right amount of "steamyness" but not too much. The author did a great job with developing the characters. There are happy parts and sad parts, enough to keep your attention. The narrator did a great job with the characters and the story.

Dr. Daddy!

This had all kinds of things in one. It was so full of drama. The saying if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have luck at all. Yeah that's Alexa. Even with all the crazy, I really liked Alexa and Eric. I was glad when things worked for them. Hot Dr. Logan needs a story if he doesn't have one maybe with a little less angst. Melissa Stiletto and Michelle Hughes are both new to me and I really liked the book and narration.
